Boy, 17, shot in Englewood

A teenage boy was shot Wednesday afternoon in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 17-year-old boy was shot in the right shoulder about 2:55 p.m. in the 7200 block of South Union Avenue, police said.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was listed in “stable” condition, police said.
