(TINLEY PARK) A southwest suburban man has been charged with uploading images of child pornography.

Louis Ferguson

Louis Ferguson, 37, faces one felony count of child pornography, according to a release from the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office.

According to prosecutors, Tinley Park police learned in April that someone had been uploading inappropriate images to a Google account. Authorities found the IP address used during the uploading process matched Ferguson’s address.

Authorities executed a search warrant at Ferguson’s Tinley Park home Thursday and recovered an Acer laptop, Asus tablet, six digital cameras, and multiple external memory cards, prosecutors said. A forensic preview of the laptop discovered over 30 pornographic images of children under the age of 13.

Judge Terry Gallagher set Ferguson’s bond at $150,000 in court Friday. He is next scheduled to appear in court July 25.
