(OAK PARK) Police are questioning a person of interest in connection with the attempted robbery of a bank Friday afternoon in west suburban Oak Park.

Someone tried to rob the U.S. Bank branch at 104 N. Oak Park Ave. about 2:15, Dave Powers, spokesman for the Village of Oak Park, said.

FBI spokeswoman Joan Hyde said a possible suspect was in custody, but additional details were not immediately available.
