A bicyclist and a motorcyclist are both in critical condition after a crash Wednesday morning in the Old Irving Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

About 4:30 a.m., a motorcycle struck a person on a bike in the 4300 block of West Addison, according to Chicago Police.

The bicyclist was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he is listed in critical condition. Police initially said he had been pronounced dead.

The motorcyclist was taken to Community First Medical Center, where he is also listed in critical condition, police said.

Additional information, including their ages, was not immediately available Wednesday afternoon.
