An apartment building caught on fire Wednesday morning in Lawndale on the West Side.

The blaze was reported about 7 a.m. at an apartment building in the 1300 block of South Homan Avenue, according to the Chicago Fire Department.

No injuries were reported, fire officials said.

The CTA’s no. 82 Kimball-Homan buses were rerouted in both directions to accommodate fire crews at Homan Avenue and Roosevelt Road, CTA said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
