Three people were wounded in a Lawndale neighborhood shooting early Sunday on the West Side.

About 12:15 a.m., the group was standing on a corner in the 3000 block of West Arthington when a male walked up and opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

A 32-year-old man was shot in the left leg, a 26-year-old woman was shot in the chest, and a 27-year-old man suffered gunshot wounds to the face and left leg. All three were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital.

Additional information was not immediately available.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
