SHARE FBI conducts ‘active criminal investigation’ in Bridgeview

Federal and local law enforcement officials were conducting a criminal investigation late Tuesday in southwest suburban Bridgeview.

FBI agents and other local and state police officers are “involved in an active criminal investigation” that started about 10 p.m. near 95th Street and Harlem Avenue in Bridgeview, according to FBI spokesman Garrett Croon.

Further details were not immediately available.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
