A man was shot early Saturday in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

Just after 2 a.m., the 18-year-old was sitting in the back of a vehicle driving in the 1300 block of North Lavergne when someone opened fire, striking him in his finger, according to Chicago Police.

He took himself to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where he was listed in good condition, police said.
