A man was shot Sunday morning in the Altgeld Gardens neighborhood on the Far South Side.

At 11:54 a.m., the 28-year-old man was walking in the 13100 block of South Ingleside when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
