Man, 47, shot in Austin

A 47-year-old man was shot Friday evening in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

About 5:40 p.m., he was in the 5500 block of West Jackson when he heard shots, felt pain and realized he was shot in the right arm, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken in good condition to Stroger Hospital, police said.
