A man who was shot Sunday morning in the West Side Austin neighborhood drove himself to the hospital.

The 28-year-old man was walking in the 5100 block of West Madison at 5:30 a.m. when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He suffered a graze wound to the abdomen and drove himself to Rush Oak Park Hospital in the western suburb, where his condition stabilized, police said.
