Man shot in Bronzeville

A 26-year-old man was shot Friday evening in the South Side Bronzeville neighborhood.

At 5:58 p.m., the man was walking down the street in the 4200 block of South Michigan Avenue when he heard gunshots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the chest and taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
