A man was injured in a drive-by shooting Thursday morning in the Montclare neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The 31-year-old victim was in the 2300 block of North Normandy Avenue about 11:30 a.m. when a black car drove up and someone inside fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the buttocks, and was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, where his condition was stabilized.

Police said the man is a documented gang member.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
