Man shot in East Side

A man was shot early Sunday in the East Side neighborhood on the South Side.

The 41-year-old was walking in an alley in the 9600 block of South Ewing about 2 a.m. when someone inside a black Chrysler nearby opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the left leg and was taken in good condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, police said.
