A man was shot while sitting in his car Thursday morning in the Morgan Park neighborhood of the Far South Side.

The shooter pulled up to the 50-year-old about 11 a.m. in the 11100 block of South Looming and fired two shots at him, Chicago police said.

The man suffered a graze wound to his right arm and took himself to MetroSouth Medical Center in Blue Island, where he was in good condition, police said.

Area South detectives were investigating.
