A man was shot Sunday evening in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

He was riding in a vehicle at 6:31 p.m. in the 700 block of South St. Louis when a light-colored vehicle drove by and someone inside fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

He was struck by a bullet in the hand and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.
