Man shot in Homan Square

A man was wounded in a shooting early Friday in the Homan Square neighborhood on the West Side.

The 30-year-old was shot in his leg about 2:45 a.m. in the 700 block of South Homan Avenue, according to Chicago police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was in good condition, police said.

He was not cooperating with police. The circumstances of the shooting were unknown, police said.

Area North detectives were investigating.
