Man shot in Woodlawn

A man was wounded in a shooting Sunday evening in the South Side Woodlawn neighborhood.

The 25-year-old was standing in an alley at 6:53 p.m. in the 6400 block of South Ingleside when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition with a gunshot wound to his arm, police said.

In addition, two vehicles sustained damage from gunfire during the incident, police said.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
