A man was shot Wednesday afternoon in the West Side Lawndale neighborhood.

The 21-year-old was a riding in a vehicle at 3:30 p.m. in the 1900 block of South Christiana when a white vehicle emerged from an alley and someone inside shot him in the leg, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to St. Anthony Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

Less than two hours earlier, two men were hurt in a drive-by shooting 10 blocks away.
