A man was wounded in a shooting Saturday afternoon in the Oakland neighborhood on the South Side.

The 19-year-old was walking outside at 12:59 p.m. in the 3700 block of South Langley when he heard shots and realized he’d been hit, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition with a gunshot wound to the leg, police said.
