Temporary overnight lane closures are scheduled for Monday night on I-90 in northwest suburban Rosemont.

Lanes will close on I-90 between I-294 and River Road at 11 p.m. Monday and reopen at 5 a.m. Tuesday to shift traffic, according to a statement from the Illinois Tollway. Eastbound traffic will shift to the right to provide a work zone on the left for the first phase of roadway construction.

Starting at Higgins Road, three lanes of traffic will be shifted to the right for the first phase of construction, the tollway said. The far right lane near I-294 will become an exit lane to the ramp carrying to northbound I-294, and two eastbound lanes will continue to the River Road Toll Plaza.

The first phase of construction is set to be completed in May.
