A man was shot early Sunday in the Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

About 4:45 a.m., the 21-year-old was walking in the 1200 block of South Sprinfield when two males walked up and fired shots, striking him in the left arm, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
