A man was shot Saturday evening in the Tri-Taylor neighborhood.

The 27-year-old was sitting in a parked vehicle at 7:39 p.m. in the 1000 block of South Oakley when a dark-colored vehicle drove by and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The man suffered gunshot wounds to the chest and back and drove himself to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
