A 26-year-old was shot Sunday night in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

He was shot in the abdomen at 8:03 p.m. in the 5600 block of West Madison Street, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hopsital, where he was in critical condition, police said.

The shooting happened in the same block where a man was shot about 5:55 p.m. Sunday, and two blocks from where two others were shot about five minutes later.
