A west suburban man died early Tuesday after he fell out of a third-floor window in Wrigleyville during a party.

Daniel McGovern, 20, fell out of a window in the 3500 block of North Wilton about 2 a.m., according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Police said he had been attending a party in the building.

McGovern, of the 200 block of Gatesby Road in Riverside, was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 9:10 a.m., authorities said.

An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
