A 15-year-old boy was shot Saturday afternoon in front of a South Chicago home.

He was standing in front of the home at 4:11 p.m. in the 8600 block of South Kingston when someone walked up and shot him, according to Chicago Police.

The boy was shot in the hip and taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in good condition, police said.
