A woman died Wednesday morning after a house fire in northwest Indiana.

Lennys Swanson, 59, was pronounced dead at her home in the 4200 block of Martin Luther King Drive in Gary at 1:50 a.m., according to the Lake County coroner’s office.

Her cause and manner of death were pending, according to the coroner’s office.

A Gary police spokeswoman declined to provide additional information, citing the ongoing investigation by the Indiana State Fire Marshal.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
