A woman was wounded Saturday afternoon in a shooting in the West Side East Garfield Park neighborhood.

The 44-year-old was shot in the leg at 5:17 p.m. in the 3100 block of West Jackson, according to Chicago Police.

She was taken to Stroger Hospital and was in good condition, police said.
