DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2014

In the morning, the President will attend official APEC events at Yanqi Lake including a welcoming ceremony, a plenary session and a family photo. There will be limited pre-set pool coverage of these events at the International Convention Center. Afterward, the President will participate in a tree planting ceremony. There will be limited pre-set pool coverage of this event at the Friendship Lawn.

In the afternoon, the President will participate in a working lunch with leaders. This lunch at Yanqi Hotel is closed press. Afterward, the President will also participate in a second APEC plenary session at the International Convention Center. This session is closed press.

In the evening, the President will begin his bilateral program with President Xi of China. This program includes with a walk and talk, a bilateral meeting and a private dinner at Zhong Nan Hai. The walk and talk will have pre-set pool coverage, there will be a pool spray at the top of the bilateral meeting, and the private dinner is closed press.

The President will remain overnight in Beijing.

A local man opened fire at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, about 85 miles west of San Antonio.
