WASHINGTON — The Bears play the Bills today and November campaigns are kicking into higher gear, so this seems a good time to look at how the NFL owners pool their money to influence politics here through the aptly named Gridiron PAC.

The Bears McCaskey family and other owners of NFL teams are donors to the New York based political action committee. Most of the Gridiron PAC money flows to congressional candidates, with a tilt towards incumbents of both parties.
