Woman shot in leg in Brainerd

A 36-year-old woman was shot Sunday evening in the Brainerd neighborhood on the South Side.

About 8 p.m., she was in the 600 block of West 95th Street when she was shot in the leg, according to Chicago Police. She was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where here condition was stabilized.

Additional information was not immediately available.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
