Justin Verlander and Kate Upton visit Chicago

After the Detroit Tigers finished their series against the Kansas City Royals on Sunday afternoon, the Tigers caught a flight to Chicago for a three-game series against the White Sox.

Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander, who hasn’t pitched since spring training due to a tricep injury, took advantage of the Chicago nightlife on Sunday.

Verlander and super-model girlfriend Kate Upton went to dinner at Chicago Cut.

Verlander and Upton look to enjoy themselves at the four-star restaurant in the city. The twitter world was wondering if it was Verlander or Upton’s birthday, but that was proven wrong. The couple just wanted to appreciate the city of Chicago during their night off before Verlander had to get serious, again.

According to Fox Sports, Verlander will an MRI on his strained triceps muscle on Tuesday.
