Tom Thibodeau was supposedly seen eating with Oklahoma City’s general manager

Since leaving the Bulls, Tom Thibodeau hasn’t backed away from the NBA. Throughout the offseason, Thibodeau went around the NBA talking with various coaches and team executives. Even since the season started, Thibodeau has talked with those in the league.

Thibodeau seems to, if nothing else, be keeping track of his former team’s schedule. The Bulls played two teams this week, both of which were linked to talking with Thibodeau.

Before the Bulls played Charlotte, Hornets coach Steve Clifford said Thibodeau gave him suggestions for the team. Then Friday, after the Bulls played the Thunder, Thibodeau seems to have been caught sitting with Oklahoma City general manager Sam Presti.

Thibodeau is almost certainly going to be without a job throughout the season, as the Bulls are still on the hook to pay him. While he’s unemployed and in Chicago, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him with members of other Bulls opponents throughout the year.
