A 16-year-old boy was shot Thursday morning in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

The shooting happened about 11:30 a.m. in the 3900 block of West Grenshaw, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the hand and taken in good condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
