A 37-year-old man was seriously wounded in a shooting Monday morning in the Douglas Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

He was shot twice in the right hip about 10 a.m. in the 1300 block of South California, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken in serious condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
