Man, 21, shot in South Loop

A man was shot Thursday evening in the South Loop neighborhood.

The 21-year-old was shot in his left foot about 6:20 p.m. in the 2000 block of South State Street, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mercy Hospital, where he was in good condition, police said. He was being uncooperative with investigators.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
