A 32-year-old man died Friday afternoon after a crash on I-55 near southwest suburban Bolingbrook.

Jason Rodriguez, of the 2000 block of Boarder Street in Coal City, was involved in a crash on I-55 near Rte. 26, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Rodriguez was pronounced dead at 3:15 p.m., the medical examiner’s office said. An autopsy Tuesday indicated that he died from multiple injuries suffered in a motor vehicle crash, and his death was ruled an accident.

Illinois State police could not be reached for more details Tuesday.
