A man shot to death Wednesday afternoon inside a Humboldt Park neighborhood business has been identified as a 31-year-old West Side resident.

One or more suspects entered a business in the 3300 block of West Division Street at 4:33 p.m. and shot the victim several times before running away, Chicago Police said.

Tommie L. Pledge of the 5200 block of West Congress was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:38 p.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. An autopsy showed he died of multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
