Man hurt in Chatham shooting

A man was wounded in a shooting Friday morning in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side.

The 21-year-old walked into Trinity Hospital at 6:05 a.m. with a gunshot wound to the ear, according to Chicago Police. He was treated and released.

He told investigators he had been walking in the 200 block of East 76th Street when someone came out of a gangway and fired at him, police said.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
