Charges were pending Thursday afternoon against a man who stabbed another man during an argument in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side, police said.

About 3:15 p.m., a 29-year-old man was in an argument with a 28-year-old man in the 4000 block of West Crystal when the younger man pulled out a “cutting instrument” and stabbed the older man, according to Chicago Police.

The victim suffered lacerations to the hand, head and face, police said. He was taken in good condition to Norwegian American Hospital.

The 28-year-old man was taken into custody and charges were pending Thursday.
