A man was shot Tuesday morning in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The shooting happened about 10:30 a.m. in the 800 block of North Monticello, according to Chicago Police.

The 23-year-old victim was shot in the leg, and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
