Man shot in Washington Park

A man was shot Saturday evening in the South Side Washington Park neighborhood.

The 26-year-old was walking south about 8:30 p.m. in the 6200 block of South King Drive when shots were fired and he realized he was injured, according to Chicago Police.

A bullet grazed him in the left hip, police said. His condition was stabilized at University of Chicago Medical Center.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
