A man was shot Saturday morning in the South Shore neighborhood.

The 33-year-old was walking to his vehicle about 4:30 a.m. in the 7400 block of South Phillips when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He showed up at Jackson Park Hospital with a gunshot wound to the groin, police said. His condition was stabilized.
