A man was shot in the Austin neighborhood late Tuesday on the West Side.

The 25-year-old was walking about 10 p.m. in the 5200 block of West Kamerling when he heard gunshots and realized he’d been hit in the right leg and back, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
