A fight over cutting in line at the Sandwich Fair led to a person being hospitalized over the weekend.
The argument began over alleged line-cutting in the ticket window line at the Sandwich fairgrounds at 1401 Suydam Rd. just before 4 p.m. Sunday, according to the DeKalb County sheriff’s office.
Fabiola Delgado, 26, and a juvenile attacked a female, knocked her to the ground and continued hitting her, according to the sheriff’s office.
The victim was taken to Valley West Community Hospital in Sandwich, where she was treated and released.
Delgado, of the 600 block of Hartford Street in Aurora, was also treated and released from Copley Hospital, according to the sheriff’s office. He faces two counts each of battery, aggravated battery and mob action.
