Two men were shot late Sunday in the Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The men, ages 35 and 58, were walking on a sidewalk about 11 p.m. in the 2100 block of South Harding when another male walked up and opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The 35-year-old was shot in the buttocks, while the older man suffered a gunshot wound to the right leg, police said. They were both taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where their conditions were stabilized.
