A 24-year-old woman was shot in the legs Monday evening in the Southwest Side Chicago Lawn neighborhood.

At 5:52 p.m., the woman was approached by someone with a gun who fired shots in the 5900 block of South Campbell, according to Chicago Police.

She was taken to Holy Cross Hospital, where her condition was stabilized, police said.
