A woman was shot Saturday evening in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.

At 6:10 p.m., the 22-year-old was getting out of her vehicle in the 8600 block of South Morgan when someone in a gray vehicle drove by and fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

She was shot in her lower body and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition, police said.
