Bridge lift temporarily disrupts CTA service in Loop

CTA Brown, Green and Pink Line service was temporarily disrupted in the Loop early Wednesday afternoon for a bridge lift.

Service was disrupted between the Merchandise Mart and Loop while a bridge was raised over the Chicago River downtown, according to the CTA.

As of 12 p.m., the CTA said trains were operating again with only residual delays.
