Police issued an alert after two Friday night robberies in that occurred in the Lincoln Square and Uptown neighborhoods on the North Side.
The first robbery happened about 7 p.m. in the 4600 block of North Paulina, Chicago Police said in a community alert. About two hours later, at 8:45 p.m., a second robbery occurred less than two miles away in the 4700 block of North Washtenaw.
In each instance, three men approached a victim and made threats by displaying a gun before stealing the victim’s belongings, police said.
